About Me:
Hello there! My name is Arrin. I'm a Gaulish polytheist with strong reconstructionist leanings, as well as a bit of a mystic interested in bard work, journeywork, and poetic inspiration. I have run my tumblr blog, Immi Gnatos Deuom, since October 2010, writing about ancient history, reenactment, reconstructionist paganism, and the religion and cultures of Iron Age Gaul. I am a twenty-something lover of history and archaeology, hoping to become an educator at a university level if I can manage it. If not, I will probably look into writing or see where life leads me.
A while ago, the gods told me to "Speak!" when I asked what they wanted for me. Eventually I began to accept whatever role they had in mind. For me, this role takes the private form of serving my gods, learning their stories, and worshiping them regularly; and publicly it takes the role of education, assisting other polytheists and pagans in my community online and offline, and furthering knowledge and awareness of modern polytheism academically and in everyday life. I am devoted to researching the gods and Gaulish religion as best as I can and sharing that knowledge with the people who ask for it. I hope this site will be a place I can do that, as I already do on my blog and on the forums I belong to.
If you would like to contact me, please get in touch with me via my tumblr or send me a private message on the Crooked Cauldron. I am working on getting an email set up for this site, but in the meantime, please have patience and seek me out through those two sources. I am happy to talk and love to meet new people.
